The abundance of natural gas in the United States has countless entrepreneurs trying to figure out which direction to head for profits. Clearly, natural gas-powered vehicles are a great idea and have been in the works for quite some time. Thanks to T. Boone Pickens and his Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ: CLNE ) , the future of vehicles driven by natural gas appears to finally be reaching a point of inflection.
After finishing the first 70 stations of its "Americas Natural Gas Highway" initiative, the company is seeing some gains early in 2013. In its first quarter of the year it sold 14% more fuel that at the same time last year. Fleet vehicles have been the early adopters of natural gas as a fuel source, but the addition of consumer vehicles running on natural gas would certainly raise the speed limit of revenue growth.
Major companies have bought in already. And with Cummins and Westport Innovations (NASDAQ: WPRT ) teaming up to produce heavy-duty, long-haul engines the transportation industry in the United States could be in the process of a revolution. For more details, tune in to the following video.

Dendreon Corporation was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in S eattle, Washington.
Advisors' Opinion:- [By Jon C. Ogg]
Dendreon Corp. (NASDAQ: DNDN) remains a company in trouble. The post-earnings jump looked promising and investors probably took some comfort when shares popped from $2.88 up to $3.31. Unfortunately, that did not last and the stock is almost back at the $3.00 mark.
- [By Bryan Murphy]
There's no doubt about it - the "in" thing to do with Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ:DNDN) lately has been to bash it. The company's one and only drug, Provenge, failed to meet its sales estimates last quarter. And worse, DNDN was forced to announce 2013's top line wouldn't be as strong as first expected. Between that lowered guidance and growing fears that Provenge may not be nearly as marketable as first assumed, the stock plunged 26% on Friday, and has since widened that loss to 30%.
- [By Sean Williams]
This week's loser
With the bulls out in full force, this week's biggest loser was Dendreon (NASDAQ: DNDN ) with a loss of just 1.5% on no company-specific news. Dendreon is still trying to recover from its dismal launch of prostate cancer immunotherapy treatment Provenge, while physicians are still trying to get over the sticker shock: the three-course treatment costs $93,000. However, an approval in the EU could change Dendreon's cards, so that's where all eyes should currently be focusing. - [By Paul Ausick]

Congratulations to anyone who owned shares of Bridgeline Digital Inc. (NASDAQ:BLIN) before today. You're now up 35% for the day so far, and still counting. Bridgeline Digital will host and service websites for the practitioners in the group for a period of three years, and in return, BLIN will receive $7 million.
